The girls and I took off late last week for a last minute break to sunny Florida.
The flight was early and I wasn't looking forward to flying with both girls solo. But, I was willing to test my sanity in order to get a week at the beach.
Minus a couple rough patches of crying, spilled drinks, and overly tired babies the flight was completely manageable.
And it was all worth it to take in this view.
It gets me. Every. Time.
So beautiful.
Shelling was a favorite past time for Miss T this year.
Sand playing was also a big hit. For both girls. Best babysitter there is. I actually got a good solid 45 minutes of reading in...can't beat that.
My favorite meal of all times. Night one.
And, again on our last night. Got to.
Even managed to get a little furniture re-arrangement in, which, as you know, is one of my favorite things to do.
A great week.
But, now, it's back to reality and the arctic temperatures in Chicagoland.
See you next week for more details in the dining room.
until next time,
